Great work, Gents! Not as much cussing as usual, but still excellent listening. For the first time, I heard you on a for-real iPod, instead of my computer (out loud), so my dog was not climbing all over me to get closer to your voices. The second your theme starts he goes apeshit (I should film that somehow …)
I was very interested in the Lavatory Queen … had never noticed Vic’s head on public loos before, in the south or up here in Northumberland. However, I believe I saw her head on the bar of “The Queen Vic” in “Eastenders” … indicating, perhaps, that it’s a good place for a piss-up.
While you were sweltering in the south (in Yorkshire … which is to my south) it seemed chilly and rainy here in Moat Country. Raoul was only a few miles away as the jailbird flies. Mind boggling to think you had electric fans going. When I lived in Bermuda, and near Las Vegas, it was fan-weather. But Yorkshire? Can’t they turn those wind-turbines up and cool you off?
I agree with your sentiments that this past series of Doctor Who has been first rate. Not 100% sure about the new multi-colour Daleks … make me think of the coins offered by some mint or other that show the figure of Britannia in colours on a normal coin background.
Have fun, Gents!
